Hen parties can be the most stressful thing to organise, especially when you have all the wedding preparations going on aswell. If you have a maid of honour worth her weight she will do it all for you and do a great job, however if like me your maid of honour isnt local and none of your other bridesmaids seem to want to take on the responsibility it can be a nightmare. At one point I even gave up on the idea of having a hen party at all. I had just had enough of the hassle. It was actually my husband to be that point blank refused not to let me have one and started organising it for me. I am so so glad he did.
It was the best night of my life. So if you are getting bogged down with it all ask for help. Sometimes people just don’t want to interfere or presume someone else is doing the organising. Start planning well in advance (ideally when you start planning the wedding) The more notice you give people the better. It also gives you lots of time to plan the perfect weekend. There are so many ideas on the internet so do your research and enjoy it!
