Top Locations

I truly believe that a great hen party is all about location! When i make this statement i am not favour ibg one hen party location over another. Rather that it is vital to find the perfect hen night location for your group.  Imagine, you have your good old reliable school friends who will love just having the chance to all get together for some reminiscing.

Then there are the wild friends you made at uni who cant wait to relive their student union days by downing as many shots as possible in the shortest space of time and seeing who can snog the most geeks!! Now to me that sounds like a fantastic hen party but to me will your great aunt enid really be able to stand the pace! Alright I know most of us don’t invite our great aunts on our night of drunken debauchery but you get the gist.  When we plan our hen party, like any other party we want our guests  to have a good time. If they have a good time, you have a good time.

This is why it is so important to choose a location that suits everyone or at least the majority of the group.  On my hen party for example (best night of my life by the way) we went to York for the weekend. I planned it 6 months in advance to give everyone the chance to save up, as we all know hen do’s aren’t cheap! This meant all the hens could save up to daty in a top hotel with leisure club etc. On the Friday afternoon we all went out together to do a bit of shopping (there was 20 of us) some shopped till they dropped others headed for riverside bar where we all met up later in the afternoon. That evening we had booked a Spanish restaurant (I did my research on food preferences to make sure nobody was completely avert to Spanish food) We all had a great time and headed to the nearest pub afterwards. My mum, auntie and a few more of the older hens headed home about midnight which left the party animals to dance the night away. Everyone’s Happy!

Saturday we went to York races, where we all got dressed up in  hats etc. which i think appeals to everyone. Who doesn’t like getting all glammed up for a day at the races. Again a great day was had by all. That night we hit the town and had the wildest night which resulted in a barefoot walk back to the hotel at 3a.m. Again the more mature ladies had joined us at the beginning and headed back to the hotel when they had had enough. Again an amazing night was had by all. At the end of the weekend every single member of the hen party commented what a fantastic time they has had, which was a great feeling.  So the key is if you are inviting your mum, aunties, and mother in law to be think carefully. Are they really want to go quad biking and bungee jumping before getting dressed up as naughty nurses to hit the clubs. I doubt it and you will only worry if they are not having a good time.  I always think you cant beat Blackpool for a good all rounder.

Once upon a time Blackpool hen  parties were all about kiss me quick hats and Funnygirls. Now Blackpool hen parties have so much more to offer.  The pleasure beach for the thrill seekers, pamper days for the princesses and pole dancing lessons for the uuuuhhmm, adventurous!!  There are also some fantastic restaurants in Blackpool (let me know if you need any recommending) On the Friday you could catch one of the many shows, there is bound to be something to suit everyone and saturday head for a meal then hit the many pubs and clubs. This way you get to spend quality time with everone but still have a wild hen party in Blackpool.
